Some Thoughts on the Meaning of Christian Living

The language of God, when perceived in faith, transforms all that is heard thereafter. Just as Genesis proclaims that God created most of that which exists out of nothing by means of invisible words, so, too, is our life created out of language. Nothing remains the same as before; all is new. God calls each of us to actively grasp change as an opportunity for growth, both personally as individuals and collectively as the Church. Change is the only thing that doesn't change in life, even though we might spend a lot of emotional energy trying to "keep things the way they are." . . .
